1. We will meet outside the "El Cid La Ceiba" Hotel, our staff will receive the remaining balance and they will place the bracelet on you to enter the hotel. “El Cid La Ceiba” is located within walking distance of Cozumel's two largest cruise ports.
2. Once you put on the bracelet that gives you access to the hotel, you can relax on the lounge chairs next to the beach or next to the pool while it's time for your dive.
3. Your diving instructor will explain the safety measures and protocol you must follow underwater, as well as how to use your equipment correctly. It is essential that you give your undivided attention. This will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, it may vary.
4. Your instructor will take you to shore to perform the equipment test and learn basic skills.
5. After you take your time to get familiar with diving, your instructor will start taking you a little further from the beach and a little deeper into the ocean so you can see more marine life and start really diving.
6. Relax and enjoy the experience.

• It is important to keep in mind that the additional 5 USD for the Marine Park fee will be collected at the meeting point along with the remaining balance (it is better to do it in cash). Credit cards can be used, but you will have to pay an additional 10% bank fee.
• If you are drunk, under the influence of drugs, or do not respect the staff and their instructions, we will not allow you to take part in the activity and there will be no refund.
• The “El Cid la Ceiba” hotel is located a short distance from the two largest cruise ports in Cozumel, Muelle Puerta Maya and Muelle Internacional.
• The beach break is available from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
• Minimum age: 10 years (from 10 to 15 years old, must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult)
• IF there’s is someone interested in joining members of the group but DON’T want to scuba dive, there’s a cost of 25 USD they can pay to use the hotel’s facilities while their group takes the class
• IMPORTANT: Safe Tours Cozumel is committed to protecting the marine environment and the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef; The use of sunscreen, sunscreen or tanning lotion that could eventually end up in the ocean is no longer permitted unless it is biodegradable. We suggest wearing long-sleeved shirts with UV filters, hats, and sunglasses for protection. Corals, fish and all other marine animals appreciate your cooperation!

• FREE cancellation and full refund if notified at least 24 hours prior to tour time; If it is done in less than 24 hours, the reservation costs will not be refunded.
• If you appear under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we will not allow you to participate in the activity and we will not issue a refund.
• This activity is subject to suitable weather conditions; In the event of bad weather, you will receive a full refund.
• If you do not show up at the scheduled meeting time, there will be no rescheduling or refund.
• For cruise passengers: If your cruise is delayed, the activity will automatically be rescheduled for a new arrival time or date. A full refund will be issued if there is a problem with the cruise and it does not dock.
